Science Day

As part of British Science Week, the children took part in a science day last week. The children were split upinto their houses and took part in several different activities, designed to inspire their curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.

Exploring skittle patterns in water

Exploring colour mixing - a few of us managed to make rainbows by diluting different amounts of sugar to the solution!

And finally, using lemon juice and heat to write and reveal hidden messages.

Many of the children have also created inventions and written letters to enter an engineering competition - watch this space, all who chose to enter will get a certificate and who knows... Sutton could well have the winner!
