World Book Day

On Thursday, the school celebrated World Book Day. We brought in our favourite bedtime stories and came to school in our pyjamas. In Orange Class, the children have been really enjoying a musical story called 'the raja with big ears.' They like it so much that they asked to do activities related to the story for World Book Day.

The children first of all had a go at using split pins, card and art straws to make a moving puppet. Some children made the Raja, whereas others made the barber or the tree from the story. Here are our puppets.

Afterwards the children had a go at exploring instruments and played along to the story - it was very noisy and very fun!

Here we are enjoying the music! Have a wonderful weekend! :)
